Patrick & Jeremy,

Well where to begin? I watched your training video on 5/3/08 on pat down searches. My next day on patrol was 5/4/08 and I encountered a Domestic Violence call involving a Knife. While enroute to the scene, the dispatcher informed me that the suspect could still be armed with the knife. Upon arrival the suspect was inside the residence. I made contact with him and he did not have the knife in his hands. I had him exit the residence and conducted a pat down for officer safety. It was alot different than my academy taught technique, but was easy to learn just by watching the video. Using this technique I was assured that the suspect didn't have the knife concealed on his person. The knife was later found inside the residence. I'm going to share this video with my coworkers and see what they think of it. Now to add a SHOCKNIFE to a training scenario using their old way of searching vs this one. It might just have shocking results... LOL Thank you for the great videos Patrick!

Keep up the Good Work!
